Customer Service Representative

Location: Peakhurst, NSW 2210
Position Type: Full-Time
Start Date: February 2025

Salary: $50-60k


Ark Appliance Repairs is a fast-growing, customer-focused appliance repair business, and we're looking for a Customer Service Representative to be the friendly voice and efficient problem-solver for our customers.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their repair or installation needs are met with professionalism and care. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Answering calls and responding to online bookings or inquiries.
  • Scheduling jobs for the correct technicians based on the area and skillset.
  • Communicating with technicians to coordinate job updates, parts requirements, and scheduling.
  • Following up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Sending appointment reminders to minimise no-shows.
  • Coordinating with the Spare Parts Manager for updated ETAs.
  • Keeping accurate and organised customer records.
  • Providing regular reports on customer trends and feedback to the Operations Manager.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Can effectively liaise between customers and technicians to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Is highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Can remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has experience in a customer service role (experience in appliance repair or trades preferred, but not essential).
  • Is comfortable using basic computer systems for scheduling and record-keeping.
